La Semana Santa del 2011 será recordada por las inclemencias meteorológicas. La lluvia impedió que se procesionara el Martes, Jueves, Madrugá y Viernes. Desde al año 1847 no acontecía una Madrugá en la que no salieran ninguno de sus titulares. En el centro de la capital se recogieron 53,6mm en esa semana, siendo el día más lluvioso el Viernes, Madrugá incluida, en el que el pluviómetro marcó la cantidad de 28,6mm.
